The first ‘House Afrika Sessions’ quadruple pack in 2010, a collaboration with the Bass, Breaks & Beats label, included a mix from Liquideep – and a sweet little song called “Fairytale” that went absolutely stellar. Now the second volume has arrived (with an extra disc) just in time for the South African summer, and it’s jam-packed with tracks that could emulate that kind of success.
Assembled by the who’s-who of the SA deep house scene, ‘Sessions II’ is similarly loaded with sumptuous, all-local tunes from some of the country’s finest DJ/producers: the likes of Da Capo, Zeedan, Keys Snow, Sculptured Music and Chymamusique.
