Teargas is one of South Africa’s prominent Hip Hop group, made up of
Ntokozo “K.O.” Mdluli and brothers, Ezee “Ma-E” and Bantu “Ntukza”
Hanabe. Their debut album, ‘K’shubile K’bovu’, released five years ago,
brought them instant plaudit which has been sustained through their
second and third album titled “Dark Or Blue” released in 2009. The album
brags of hit singles like “Go Away”, “Party 101” and “Mhlobo Wami”.
They also won the Best Rap Album award at the 2010 South African Music
Awards.
Their latest offering is titled number number , which features the hit track "Wake up" . Teargas is undoubtly S.A 's best hip hop group.
