Big Nuz, a kwaito group consisting of three talented guys from Umlazi Township in KZN .Big Nuz is undoubtedly the best kwaito group in S.A, They’ve repeatedly proven to be the best ever since DJ Tira discovered them in 2007. DJ Tira signed them on his record label Afrotainment. They then got involved on the Durban’s Finest Vol 3 album and produced a number1 summer hit, “Uyoysholo Wena”. The song was number 1 on Ukhozi FM, YFM, Metro FM, Ligwalagwala FM.
Big Nuz went on to release their second album under afrotainment called “2nd Round Knockout”. The album topped the charts all over the country with all time classic “Ubala”. The album won the 2008 Metro FM Best Kwaito Award. After this huge success , Big Nuz released what we can call their best album to date “Undisputed” , which featured the hit song “Umlilo” produced by afrotainment ‘s DJ Fisherman, Umlilo went to on to become song of the year in 2010 on the SAMAs , Big Nuz also walked away with best album for Undisputed. Their fourth album “Pound for pound” also was a success, proving that Big Nuz is truly the best in the game.
Rumour has has it that Big Nuz 2013 album might be released during the course of the year , this will be their 5th offering , So let’s patiently wait to hear what Big Nuz ‘s new album will sound like, but they have a proven track recorded of giving us only the best.
