Hansa Festival of Legends , Africa 's first Holographic concert

Join Hansa Pilsener, the beer with the special ingredient, in a celebration of South Africa`s music legends, at the Hansa Festival of Legends on the 23rd of March 2013! Spend a whole day enjoying over 30 of the best acts South Africa has to offer in the heart of Johannesburg - Mary Fitzgerald square in Newtown. You can also catch never-seen-before tributes to our very own musical legends.


The most amazing part about the concert is the live performance by the late Brenda Fassie, Thanks to holographic projection technology, the popular South African singer will be recreated as a 3D holographic replica to perform on stage during the Hansa Festival of Legends.

A team of audiovisual professionals took about six weeks to create a holographic presentation of 10 minutes which will showcase Fassie performing two numbers from the musical Mabrr.


The hologram will make it seem like a life-size Brenda is performing on stage. Her son, Bongani, will also appear alongside her to perform with his late mother

                                                                              Fans can also expect to see performances by Khuli Chana, Zakes Bantwini, Amu, Arthur Mafokate ,Mdu Masilela, Thebe, Spikiri, The Muffinz, TKZee plus 30 more of the best South Africa has to offer.                                                                         
The festival will cater to all tastes, revelers can also look forward to performances from Lulo Café with his cutting edge house music, hip hop group Skwatta Kamp and acapella singing group The Soil.  DJ Vigi will be spinning the decks and hip hop DJ Dimplez will keep the crowds on their feet.
