DJ Sbu is very dedicated to improving the lives of young black ambitious individuals. He introduced the 2020 Leadership Seminars beginning of the year, with the first event hosting an international life coach and motivational speaker Tony Gaskins. The Seminars are a program that will go on until the year 2020. The seminars aim to inspire and motivate young South Africans, giving them the knowledge they need to make it in the business world.
All is not well with the seminars as they face critic from the public, saying they are too expensive and are unaffordable for the average young South African. The cheapest tickets usually start at R500 and this amount is not affordable for the average young men and women in the country.
The 2020 Leadership founders are still in the process of securing more sponsors for the seminars, and hopefully once these have been confirmed the seminars will be much cheaper or even better "free".
DJ Sbu feels that staying motivated is something that one needs to practice on a daily basis. Therefore the introduction of "The Leadership 2020 Book" will be a tool that one can read on a daily basis to stay motivated and inspired.
