18TH ANNUAL MOBO AWARDS

LONDON - some of the most exciting names in music joined forces for the hotly anticipated announcement of the nominees for this year’s MOBO Awards. Ahead of the 18^th anniversary show at the brand new, SSE Hydro in Glasgow on Saturday, October 19; the nominations were revealed at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms – where the awards show started in 1996, following careful deliberation from this year’s MOBO music panel.
During an important year for the internationally-renowned entertainment brand, the star-studded London event saw names from the MOBO Awards past and present arrive to hear this year’s shortlist before opening to the public vote. It will now be down to the fans to decide who walks away with a coveted MOBO Award in October, with the categories now open to the public via www.mobo.com/voting2013.
