Kabelo Mabalane is back with the second season of Kabelo’s Boot Camp on Mzansi Magic. The kwaito and television star, who is also a Comrades Marathon medallist, hosts Kabelo’s Boot Camp, a reality TV series that helps contestants transform their lives.
Last year the show revealed Thabo Maboya from Diepkloof as the winner of the ultimate prize. Thabo was crowned the boot camp’s champion and took home a Kia Rio, gym membership and a cash prize after losing 40kg during the competition.
Season two premiered last Wednesday at 7pm on Mzansi Magic.The show started off with a bang as camp master Kabelo gave the contestants a taste of the sweat, tears and pain they will endure in the weeks to come.Kabelo said: “The show is all about changing people’s lives and giving them principles that they can live by forever.”He said season one winner was doing well for himself and enjoying his prize.“Thabo has used his winnings to start his own logistics company.
“He hasn’t stopped exercising. I regularly see him at the gym”Kabelo said.He said he’s back in the studio.Although he didn’t say when can people expect an album from him, he seemed very excited to be working on his music again.“I recently did a song with Reason and Maggs called Lendlela.“The song encourages people to stay strong because the journey to get where they want to be may be long,” Kabelo said.
