DJ Fresh takes over from Gareth Cliff on 5FM

 

5FM announced DJ Fresh will take over the morning show after Gareth Cliff left the station.

In a statement 5FM said: " DJ Fresh will amplify the essence of music youth culture and entertainment on weekday mornings and will provide a new offering to the South African morning radio landscape."

The show will start at 5am. A very early morning for the team.
The decision to start the show at 5am was fuelled by feedback from listeners to have a breakfast show that starts their day when they do.
"I have always enjoyed doing morning radio and the move back to AM drive is a great opportunity to create content and entertain in a new space.” DJ Fresh said.
“I guarantee the audience will be part of my journey in every aspect of the show and P.S no prisoners will be taken," he added.
Roger Goode will take over the drive time show in the afternoon.
