Senzo "Kwesta" Mfundo Vilakazi the South African rapper and self-claimed "DaKingOfAfricanRAP" will be lauching his album DAKAR at Zone6 in Diepkloof-Soweto.
He released his album DaKAR, meaning Da King of Afrikan Rap, digitally last year. It made history when it became the first ever digital album to win at the Metro FM Music Awards.
It scooped up the award for Best Hip Hop Album. On Saturday he will launch the physical copy of the CD in Soweto.
when asked about the launch the boomshakalaka hit maker could not hide his excitement and said: "my album launch will be taking place at Zone6 in Soweto on Saturday the 26th of July (2 days from now).
its going to be one hell of a party and i'll be pulling out all the stops to give you the performance of my life and so will my rockstar friends who have been kind enough to put together my first live concert".He Added
He will be joined on stage by singers including Bucie, Heavy K, Maggz, Cassper Nyovest, Ricky Rick, Red Button, AB Crazy, Emmy G, DJ Vigilante, Sliqe, Dotcom, Mashayabhuqe KaMamba and the new group which he has signed, TLT.
Tickets are available at Computicket from R80 to R100 at the door. Doors open at 5pm and stay open until late.
