Hot off her recent Kenyan launch, and US performance at the Apollo Theatre, which coincided with winning a Bessie Award at the NYC ceremony. Africa’s quintessential, iconic Queen of Soul, is set for a pre-release public launch of her new album Firebrand on Kaya Fm 95.9 on Thursday 20 November (21h00 – 22h00) on Late Night with Nonn.
Simphiwe Dana’s album titled Firebrand is currently available on iTunes pre-order. This means that anyone pre-ordering the album this week – ahead of the release on 24 Nov – will receive singles ‘My Light’ and ‘Chibok’ instantly.
The public pre-release launch experience will take the form of a live on-air broadcast on Kaya Fm, and include a select audience in studio of hand-picked Firebrands in their respective fields, who will engage during the listening session in Q&A with the leading Firebrand herself.
