Formerly a rapper under Chaka Chaka Music, Capital C.Y.A always had the drive and passion for anything he took part in. The “C.Y.A” to represent his birth name, Siya, and the “Capital” to represent dominance and presence, such as: a capital city, a capital letter and the like. The name Capital stuck and became popular amongst his peers.
DJ Capital previously ran ‘Code Red Productionz’, an events company. In his desire to reduce event expenses, he began to play some of his own pre-recorded mixes at his events. As predicted, not only were the events’ expenses substantially reduced but the response from the crowd was surprisingly impressive. This began Capital’s love for DJ-ing.
DJ Capital has since joined The Reps, South Africa’s most successful urban dance group as their official DJ. He has embarked on the journey of making hits himself.Hits such as " Money " By Nadia Nakai ft DJ Capital & Kid X ," Imma tell her " By Dj Capital ft Kid X he does not seem like he will slow down as he took to instagram to announce that he will be releasing a song next Friday titled " Hell of a life " which features Reason and AB Crazy.Produced by the Avengers.
