Nomzamo Mbatha is a South African accountant, actress and television personality best known as one of the three finalists in the 2012 MTV Base VJ Search.Mbatha, born in KwaMashu, north of Durban secured her first acting role in the Mzansi Magic telenovela, turned soap opera, Isibaya during 2013.
Nomzamo has scored a reality show coming to SABC 1 in February 2015. She will host a brand new reality game show “Holiday Swap” on SABC 1 that will showcase the best and coolest hotspots in KwaZulu-Natal.
Holiday Swap requires two teams of three friends, to compete against each other to win an Dream Holiday in KwaZulu-Natal. Every episode will have challenges where the friends must decide who will ‘take one for the team’ and experience a holiday thrill that is outside of their comfort zone. Each team will need to score points for completing the challenges and the team with most points wins!
The show is sponsored by Tourism KZN and Thebe Tourism & the aim of the show is to get South Africans to choose KwaZulu-Natal as their ultimate holiday destination.
