IFANI CLOSE TO SELLING GOLD ON THE FIRST DAY?

Ifani has been at it with marketing his second studio album titled " I believes in me 2nd Quadrant". His latest offering is in stores today and the Port Elizabeth torch bearer is aiming to sell 20 000 copies of the record today alone and has called on South African to rush to stores and get it on iTunes.According to his Instagram he is very close to reaching 20 000 as he posted the below picture with the caption " Mzansi we are so close .Please go out there and buy a copy or 2 or 10. I am half excited and half nervous "

Upon listening to the album you stumble a track called " Ayadelela " where The self declared Crenkist iFani is demanding respect for opening doors for Xhosa rappers in the South African music industry and has called Yanga the Umtata born rapper behind hits such as Run Jozi with AKA & K.O, Sorry Makhe by DJ Vigilante, KwaMkhize by DJ Dimples and his very own Awuth Yam Remix which features AKA and Cashtime life's Kid X.

The beef has come to light with today's release of iFani's follow up to the hugely successful SAMA Award winning debut release "I Believes In Me 1st Quadrant." On the "Ayadelela" track iFani accuses Yanga of jealousy and reminds him that he's got iFani's big shoes to fill. He goes on to say "kawuzi Fundise Ukunqoma it's not like useke wam'bona okulendawu name um-rapper womxhosa, [Yanga] Chief..." Loosely translated Yanga is being asked to congratulate for taking Xhosa rap to new heights in what is evidently a direct provocation in rap terms.
