Riky Rick Started at the barber shop and ended up being Mr Boss Zonke, Riky Rick has travailed the waters of being an on and off artist to being one of the leading household names in modern day South African Hip-Hop.
Playing a large role in the creation of New Age Kwatio, Riky’s debut album “Family Values” was more personal and less focused on ‘club bangers’. From the intro to the outro, Riky takes you on a journey through his life, with each song marking a different instance in his timeline. At first I was not sure what to expect, but with the wailings of his new born child on the intro you immediately get the direction the album is going.
Family Value just recently went Gold , A status that is a great achievement in the Hip Hop movement.
