The king of African rap Kwesta, Who just recently released
his much anticipated hip hop album #DAKARII, Which in his own words is the
greatest work he’s ever done. This is very evident in both singles he released;
#Nomayini and #Ngud are some of the best records in the country right now and
are at the top of almost every chart.
As Kwesta ‘s brand continues to rapidly grow, His Management
has just announced that he has just officially signed two up and coming rappers
under his independent label ‘Urbantainment’.
The two rappers are part of a hip hop dou called ‘TLT’ which
is made up of Phethego ‘LTech’ Makanyane and Vusi ‘Troublle’ Rantlha. They also
hail from Kwesta‘s hood ‘Katlehong’, which only makes sense as Kwesta is so
passionate about his hood. TLT is going to continue raising the k1 flag up
high.
TLT is
bringing a new distinctive sound to the music industry, probably the reason why
the king of African rap saw something special in them
Kwesta has been working with TLT for a while now; he’s been
touring with them to his shows across the country for the past year just to
prepare them and mentor them about the industry. And throughout that time they’ve
been killing every performance. He’s actually recorded a song with TLT on his
new album titled ‘Mnino’.
In that song, Kwesta goes on to say “See I come from a
platform that was given to me so if I don't share mine, it don't make sense”
Kwesta was also given the same chance and platform by
Skwatta Kamp‘s Sliquor and Shuggasmaxx when he entered the music Industry about
9 years ago. So he is very committed to taking these boys all the way to the
top , He believes in their musical ability so much that he signed them and is investing
his time and money into nurturing their talent.
TLT will be releasing their debut single in April, so be on
the lookout for these boys in 2016 as they’ve got a lot of bars burning inside
them.
