Music fans are mourning the death of DJ Duke Soul.
Duke Soul Productions confirmed the sad news on Monday.
“I'm sorry to announce that Duke Soul passed away this morning. He always loved the Duke Soul Music family very much,” the label’s Major P said in a Facebook post.
The house DJ was admitted to hospital at the beginning of April.
“Speedy recovery to Duke Soul,” a post on the label’s Facebook page read on April 3.
He was reportedly in an out of hospital, and according to the Sunday World, he previously collapsed at O.R. Tambo International Airport.
Tributes have been pouring in for the popular DJ.
