The multiple award-winning rapper, whose real name is Kiernan Forbes, has been making headlines and for all the good reasons this time - he’s been nominated four times for the 22nd South African Music Awards, aka the Samas, and has reached 1 million followers on Twitter.
The Sunday Independent spoke to him this week in Auckland Park, where he described his current success and upcoming show.
Asked about his secret for a winning formula, he jokingly responded that it was really not a secret.
“For me, personally, I feel that passion is very important in whatever profession you’re in. If you’re not passionate about what you do, you won’t be driven to challenge yourself to do the best you can .
His Levels Album has also just gone platinum , so things are really looking out for AKA , Congrats to him.
