Internationally acclaimed DJ/Producer and Soulistic Music record label owner Black Coffee has bought into the popular Soweto entertainment spot. Zone 6 is one of the biggest and most sought-after event venues in South Africa.
This is yet another exciting endeavor Black Coffee has taken this year, having performed at the venue many times over the years.
Black Coffee’s Business Manager Amaru Da Costa had the following to say about the new business acquisition, “We are obviously very excited about the acquisition but what is even more thrilling is the fact that we can further contribute to the culture, this is main reason we decided to invest in the venue”.
He further added “Other than a few operational improvements, it’s business as usual, Chris Hajibey and his team will continue to manage the venue and people can look forward to the many more exciting upcoming events.
The venue has hosted the likes of AKA, Black Motion, Cassper Nyovest, KO, Kwesta, Shimza and events such as Authentic Sundays, Black Coffee’s BET celebration, Redbull’s RBMA Weekender, DJ Shimza’s OMS, and Sprite Uncontainable as well as the MTV Base music concerts and their recent VJ Search.
Black Coffee’s new Business Partner and Venue Manager Chris Hajibey said, “I have a good relationship with Black Coffee and Soulistic Music, I respect their business ethics, hard-work, discipline and they are people I trust to take this place to even greater heights. Partnering with this incredible team is an honor for me”, he concluded.
The 3000 square meter venue takes about 4000 people, including the two floors and an outside area with a swimming pool. The venue will continue to be the hub for all entertainment by hosting its grand, auspicious corporate and social events, Zone 6 Venue is about to get even better. The Soulistic Music team has great plans for the venue and will ensure that it stays ahead, producing nothing but quality entertainment.
