Drum Beat Concert Taking place in a week



The fourth annual DRUM beat Music Festival, proudly presented by Toyota and Drum Magazine,returns to the Soweto Theatre.
This year’s event takes place on the 10th of May,with Toyota leading the way to a spectacular showcase featuring some of Africa’s legendary musical talents, more than 5,000 people are expected to see12 incredible acts performing on three stages.

The three stages will be include performances from Ringo Madlingozi,The Soil, Indwe, Reason, Zakes Bantwini, Nancy G, Zahara alongside headline artist Oliver Mtukudzi.
 Mtukudzi began performing in 1977 when he joined the Wagon Wheels. With his husky voice, he has become the most recognized voice to emerge from Zimbabwe and onto the international scene and he has earned a devoted following across Africa and beyond.

“Festival goers will be experiencing three blockbuster shows in one day,”says Makhosazana Zwane-Siqua (Editor of DRUM Magazine) “We are absolutely delighted with this year’s top quality line-up. This event is only open to persons over the age of 18 years.
