Metro FM is at odds over whether they should include rapper Cassper Nyovest's lyrical comeback to AKA's Composure.
Sunday Sun reports that the national radio station had issues about playing the song, because it’s too personal and explicit.
In the track, Cassper calls AKA a druggie who is on cocaine, slams him for not owning any of his music and earnings, mocks a Hunters Dry deal he turned down that was later picked up by AKA and puts him on blast for getting kicked out of DJ Zinhle's Bryanston townhouse.
A source told the tabloid a meeting was held with the station's music compiler to decide if the song should be played.
“People had different views. Some thought it would make business sense to play the song. Others thought it’s a bit personal and vulgar for the audience, unless it’s edited. But time will tell,” said the source.
Another source said the station wants to protect Bonang Matheba because she is one of their employees. Matheba is the host of 'The Front Row' on Metro FM.
