NTSIKI Mazwai is known for being outspoken and quick to give her opinion.
But this often leads to the well-known poet and musician getting negative comments on social networks.
Recently, she has been in a number of Twitter wars with celebrities like AKA and Euphonik, and even the ANC.
Her most recent target was Brickz, whose real name is Sipho Ndlovu. And he didn’t take it lying down.
On Friday, Ntsiki tweeted: “I think drugs pushed Brickz over the edge... I don’t think he would be in this mess had he been a sober man.”
She was referring to the kwaito star appearing in the Roodepoort Magistrate Court on a rape charge.
An angry Brickz responded by asking her what her problem was, but things heated up when he threatened to leak naked pictures of her. When the SunTeam asked Ntsiki why she attacked people on social networks, she said: “Does the fact that I’m a public figure mean I can’t talk about what is happening around me?
“I’m a social activist and I will speak about everything that affects my community, whether it’s drugs, rape or anything else in the media.”
When asked about the allegations made by Ntsiki, Brickz’ lawyer Dumisani Mabunda said: “I have not been given permission to comment on anything by my client but his case has nothing to do with drugs.
“What I can say is that in my interactions with him I have not noticed
anything strange about him.”

About a minute after Daily Sun’s phone call to Mazwai ended, she took to Twitter again and wrote: “Dear journalist who just called me, if that article provokes me you will do more damage than good. Don’t mess with me!”
